Fläkt Woods opens Education Center in Moscow

 

The Education center on microclimate and building automation, on the basis of Fläkt Woods’ energy efficient solutions, was opened in Moscow on June 19, 2012. It is a unique project, which aims to educate and increase the qualification of specialists of all skill levels in the field of ventilation systems and air conditioning. The Education Center will be open for designers, consultants, installers and maintenance department employees.

The Center will offer its audience a variety of lectures dedicated to general ventilation and air-conditioning theory, elements and calculation of the main parameters of air-handling units, special variants of ventilation design, automation and energy-saving solutions. All lectures - both the theoretical and practical parts – will be carried out on the basis of Fläkt Woods equipment placed in the laboratory; eQ-005 air-handling unit equipped with a rotary heat exchanger, automation system and frequency control). The lectures will also contain extensive information and usage of Fläkt Woods’ ACON selection program and technical documentation.

Moreover, the equipment installed in the laboratory can be presented to potential customers, designers and current clients as visual aids, which is always very helpful. In the future, Fläkt Woods Moscow plans to organize more courses on installation and maintenance of EQ/LQ air handling units, Fläkt Woods E3 concept (Energy, Expertise, Environment) as well as LCC (Life Cycle Cost), chilled beams and air-distribution systems.
