Fläkt Woods expands its plug fan range with a high-pressure version, Centriflow Plus 3000.

Thanks to the new impeller direct-driven plug fans can be used as an alternative to traditional belt-driven fans in marine, hygiene and electronics applications where higher pressures are typically required. The advantages of direct-driven fans are clear: reduced need for maintenance, easier service and no belt dust.

Centriflow Plus 3000 has a reinforced construction to meet the requirements of heavy-duty operation. Fan impeller, base frame and motor bracket are of a fully welded construction. IE2 motors are used as standard. In marine applications the motors come with a Classification Society approval according to the customer specification.

Centriflow Plus 3000 range consists of eight fan sizes. The range covers air flows up to 8 m3/s and the maximum pressure rise is 3000 Pa.
