eQ plate heat exchanger of counter flow type is perfect in applications where transfer of odors and moisture is not allowed between supply and exhaust air.

The efficiency is much higher than traditional plate heat exchangers and on the same level as rotary heat exchangers. Typical applications are in residential houses where odor transfer is not allowed. eQ plate is available in 6 sizes for air flows 0.1 – 1.7 m3/s and is used in eQ air handling units sizes: 005 – 018.

A sectional defrosting system is used to protect against icing. Sectional de-frosting is a better system than using by-pass dampers as the defrosting can be controlled in steps, thus giving better and more energy efficient control. The de-frosting is automatic by built in control system. A frost preventer is available as accessory.
